As a lifelong endurance junky, I started nordic skiing with the boom in the late seventies. I have completed over 135 ski marathons all over the world from 40km to 90km in length.   Mountain biking came along twenty-five years ago when running marathons became a little too hard on the body.  My first mountain bike race was the 2003 Iceman on an original 80s vintage Stumpjumper.  I have completed four Leadville 100s, five Lumberjack 100s, ten Iceman races, the Marji Gesick 50 and hope to complete the 100 this year (can’t fix stupid).
I joined Team Clark Logic two years ago concentrating on Gravel and Mountain Bike races.  Being a member of TLC has afforded me the opportunity to become more involved in the local Kalamazoo bike scene through volunteering as a ride leader, assisting with the Tuesday Night Time Trial, and Bike Camp.
